Sharavathi Backwaters – The Hidden Paradise of Honnavar

📍“Kerala Spot” / “Mini Kerala Spot”: The classic coconut-tree lined waterways and calm narrow channels that give the “mini Kerala” feel. 

📍Mangrove Forest Section: A stretch where the boat goes through dense mangrove vegetation along the river banks, creating a shaded, tranquil corridor. 

📍Lotus Point: A portion of the route where you’ll see seasonal lotus blooms and the water surface framed by foliage and reflections. 

📍“Madhuvana” / Extended Channel: For longer trips (2 hrs or more) the route may include Madhuvana, a more secluded stretch, subject to water levels. 

📍 Boardwalk / Kandla Mangrove area: Kandla Boardwalk / Kasarkod region, covering mangrove + coconut garden + coastal railway bridge views.
